PERSONAL BACKGROUND AND EDUCATION Roger K. Frandsen was born on February 12, 1948 and grew up in Springfield, IL. Roger attended DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1970. Roger attended law school at the University of Illinois College of Law where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 1973. At the College of Law, Roger served as Notes and Comments editor of the Illinois Law Forum and authored an article printed in the Law Forum. While in law school, Roger completed an accounting program in the College of Commerce, satisfying the accounting requirements for the CPA exam and completed an ROTC course resulting in being commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Army. Roger and his wife, Cheryl, moved to Elgin in 1973 and have two sons. Roger became an associate with Brady & Jensen in 1973 and became a partner with the firm in 1976. LEADING AMERICAN ATTORNEY Mr. Frandsen was selected as a Leading American Attorney in the area of Commercial Real Estate. To be selected, attorneys must receive multiple recommendations from their peers in a statewide survey conducted by American Research Corporation. Fewer than 6% of Illinois attorneys are Leading American Attorneys. PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS Illinois, Kane County and Elgin Bar Association (served as past General Counsel to Kane County Bar Association). COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT Roger has served on the boards of various not for profit corporations and has supported, through coaching and otherwise, youth sports.
